On Thursday, the Golfclub Munchen Eichenried in Munich, Germany will host the BMW International Open. This will be the 24th time that the BMW International Open will be hosted in this golf course. But the players will face a new-look course as it has undergone a substantial makeover.

Renovation were done in all 18 holes and the course was lengthened from 6,614 to 6,660 meters.

Defending champion Matt Wallace is coming off a strong performance in his last tournaments this season.

He finished T3 in the US PGA Championship and T12 in the US Open last week.

It moved him atop the Race to Dubai rankings and he is set to defend his BMW International Open title.

Matt Wallace is group with Martin Kaymer and Dane Olesen in the first two rounds with an 8:40AM tee time in the opening round.

Other notable grouping are Sergio Garcia with Brandon Stone and Andy Sullivan.

Lee Westwood will be playing with Maximillian Kiefer and Bernd Wiesberger.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Matt Wallace as the favorite to win his 2nd BMW International Open title on Sunday.
