2022 Formula One: Belgian Grand Prix August 25, 2022 by Marc Jerbs

On Sunday, the second half of the 2022 Formula One season officially starts with the Belgian Grand Prix.

Race time is set 2:00PM BST at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium.

The Belgian Grand Prix is a 44-lap race that will cover a total race distance of 308.052 km. Each lap will cover 7.004km of the circuit length.

Valterri Bottas established the fastest lap record in 2018 with a time of 1 minute and 46.286 seconds.

It's the second half of the F1 season, this is the last chance for Ferrari and Mercedes to deny the Red Bull Racing team the driver and constructor title.

Mercedes have ended the 1st half with a lot of improvement in its F1 car as it finally has the speed and reliability to content.

For Ferrari, their nightmare continued without a podium finish in France and Hungary.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Red Bull's Max Verstappen as the driver to beat on Sunday's Belgian Grand Prix.
