2022 Formula One: Hungarian Grand Prix July 28, 2022 by Marc Jerbs

On Sunday, the 2022 Formula One moves to Hungaroring in Mogyorod, Hungary for the Hungarian Grand Prix.

Race time is set 2:00PM BST.

The Hungarian Grand Prix is a 70-lap race that will cover a total race distance 306.63 km and each lap will cover 4.381 km.

Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton owns the fastest lap record of 1 min and 16.627 sec which he established in 2022.

Ferrari has still the fastest car this season and they proved it again in the last French Grand Prix.

However, disaster struck as Charles Leclerc crashed out and teammate Carlos Sainz was not able to secure a podium finish after 10-grid penalty to start the race as his car was replaced with a new engine.

Red Bull's Max Verstappen took advantage of the situation and now has a commanding 63-point lead in the driver standing.

With 10 races left in the season, Ferrari must put it acts together and check on their race strategy in order to have a chance to overhaul the lead of Max Verstappen.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed Ferrari's Charles Leclerc as the favorite win on Sunday's Hungarian Grand Prix.
