2022 Tour de France: Stage 6 (Binche > Longwy) July 7, 2022 by Marc Jerbs

On Thursday, the 2022 Tour de France continues with its 6th stage from Binche up to Longwy.

Race time starts at 11:05AM BST.

There's no rest for the battered and weary cyclists after the cobbles stage in the Tour de France.

In Stage 6, considered as the longest race of the tour with 219.9km route from Binche to Longwy.

It will also feature short and sharp climbs with a Category 3 climbing in Cote de Pelventuex just before the finish line.

The Tour de France contenders are expected to take it easy on this stage as they conserve their energy on the next challenging race stages.

Breakaways from other cyclists will happen in the early stages but expect the peloton to draw them back as they enter the hilly part of the race.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed UAE Team Emirates' Tadej Pogacar as the favorite to win the 2022 Tour de France.
