EURO 2020 Matchday 2: England vs. Scotland June 17, 2020 by Marc Jerbs

On Friday, England will face Scotland in matchday 2 of the EURO 2020.

Kick-off is set 8:00PM BST at the Wembley Stadium in London, UK.

The old rival will once again face each other in order to qualify in the round of 16.

The last time both teams met was in EURO '96 wherein England's Paul Gascoigne help defeat Scotland.

England won its opening Group D match in Croatia.

It was their seven-straight win in the UEFA campaign and can secure a place in the last 16 with a game to spare if they beat Scotland.

Scotland lost their opening game against Czech Republic.

They badly need a win in order to give themselves a chance to move into the knockout stage.

It will be sweeter if they could get a huge win against their old-time rival England.

Expect coach Steve Clarke to make some personal changes in the lineup but Kieran Tierney is still doubtful to start due to a calf injury.

The sportsbook handicappers have installed England as the favorites to win over Scotland on Friday night.
